Ethics and Plagiarism Policy
International Journal of Multidisciplinary Comprehensive Research (IJMCR)
The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Comprehensive Research is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in academic publishing. Our journal strictly adheres to internationally accepted publishing ethics, including guidelines issued by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, accurate, and based on genuine research findings.
Submissions must not have been published previously or be under consideration elsewhere.
Proper acknowledgment of sources and contributions is mandatory.
Data fabrication, falsification, or any unethical research conduct will result in immediate rejection and blacklisting.
IJMCR has a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism.
All manuscripts are thoroughly screened using Plagiarism X plagiarism detection software before the peer-review process begins.
If the similarity index is found to be high or unethical duplication is detected, the manuscript will be rejected outright.
Authors are encouraged to paraphrase properly and cite all reused or referenced material.
Minor similarities (below 10%) that are properly cited may be considered acceptable based on editorial discretion.
Each submitted manuscript is checked via Plagiarism X.
A similarity report is reviewed by the editorial team.
Manuscripts with a similarity index above 15% (excluding references and properly quoted text) are returned to authors for revision or outright rejection based on the severity of overlap.
IJMCR follows a strict retraction and correction protocol to maintain publication integrity.
Retraction: Articles may be retracted in cases of serious ethical misconduct such as plagiarism, data falsification, or duplicate publication. A retraction notice will be published and linked to the original article, clearly stating the reasons.
Corrections: Minor errors or omissions may be corrected via a correction notice or erratum, without retracting the entire article.
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Ethical approval (where applicable) and informed consent must be obtained and clearly mentioned.
Authors should cooperate fully during the peer review and post-publication processes.
Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively and confidentially.
Editors must make unbiased decisions and ensure a fair, timely review process.
Conflicts of interest must be disclosed and handled appropriately.
